File sharing without limits
Remember the days when you had to save your files to a floppy disk or USB key to bring them into work or college? Or maybe you used to email files to friends and colleges. Send large files
After a super quick download and install process, you're ready to start sending files via Infinit. While there are lots of great aspects to the program, the headliner is that there is no limit to the size of file you can send. This is contrast to the likes of WeTransfer and Dropbox, which both impose limits.
Once you've uploaded a file to Infinit, you can send it by searching for an existing user via username or simply adding an email address. If the other person doesn't have Infinit, they receive a link in an email where they can download the file. If you have the program installed, it's only a matter of clicking on "accept" when the file arrives.
Alternatively, if you don't want to send the file, you can generate a link, which you can send to as many people as you like. Once the recipient clicks on the link they can access the file (image, audio, video) in their browser or chose to download it.
Point-to-point file transfer
Infinit's file sending process is speedy thanks to its ability to connect computers directly via WiFi rather than sending files via the cloud (in the way that Dropbox, for example, does). So you can make the transfer even faster if you're both using the same internet connection. This also enhances security as your file isn't stored in the cloud unprotected.
Another nifty feature that stands out in the sending process is that if you lose internet connectivity, your transfer isn't lost but is merely paused and will restart once you get WiFi access again.
The only drawback is that you have to download the program, you can't just go to a web page, upload a file and click send.
